Olivia Deane is a British singer-songwriter from Manchester. She started writing songs when she was just 9 years old and now 23, she's a regular on the Manchester music scene. Olivia began recording her own original tracks in the studio in late 2019 and released her debut single 'Cynic Queen' on April 24th.
With influences from Stevie Nicks, Taylor Swift, Dixie Chicks, Lennon Stella and Julia Michaels, Olivia combines the honest, story-telling songwriting of country music with modern pop electronic elements. Olivia Deane was recently named by Capital Xtra as one of the Top 21 Emerging Female Artists in the UK. She was awarded a video shoot and a clothing contract from 'I Saw It First'.
Olivia's debut single 'Cynic Queen' (out now on all platforms) is the first song from her upcoming debut EP. It cleverly tells of how being let down in different relationships can make you so cynical that you become the Queen of all cynics! It's a song that empowers women who have been mistreated and warns that there will be consequences for men.
It's been backed by some top blogs/playlists including 'Rochdale Online', 'Surviving the Golden Age', 'Uranium Waves', 'LA On Lock', 'Neon Music' 'Liberty Music' 'Greesha' 'Unsigned Music Blog', 'Fierce Fabulous Revolution' & 'thedrunkencoconut'. This is on top of radio/podcast plays from the likes of 'Women Of Substance', 'Revolution Radio', 'NAM Radio', 'CBN Network', 'Nebula Music Podcast' & 'Radio Caroline'.
With a modern pop twist, sprinkled with a taste of country, Olivia Deane is set to be welcomed with open arms by both country and pop fans alike.
