Olivia Deane is a Manchester-based singer-songwriter. Since her first public performance back in late 2016 with a wooden ukulele, she has supported Sam Bailey on her 'Sing Your Heart Out' tour, recorded her single (due for release later this year) and made it to the grand final of the countrywide competition Open Mic UK. She was selected to be the last 27 out of 10,000 auditionees to perform in the final at Birmingham NEC and throughout the competition won two 'best original song' awards out of the three up for grabs.
Since then, Olivia has learned to play the guitar and performed live with it numerous times around Manchester & beyond.
Being raised listening to country/folk music such as The Dixie Chicks, Fleetwood Mac & Shania Twain, she found her passion for songwriting at as young as 8 years-old and would often sit at the back of the classroom writing lyrics in her school books. At the age of 9 she had written and recorded her first studio-album with all songs written by herself just for fun!
